MIXTAPE — THEY CAME THE NIGHT

In 2014, I created a mixtape for the excellent Mexican-based music blog Weird Loops. Whilst I could wax lyrical about the mix, I will leave that to the muso from Weird Loops himself:

Our TCAN series is back with a torrid mix-tape Lorem loaded with dark thriving disco grooves. We are very proud to present London based number cruncher and chug surfer’ Sliding Down The Banister’ who brings us a steady selection of spaced-out, acid goodness that guarantee to leave a lasting impression on both the head and the heart! Get your dusty shoes and prepare to get stabbed by chunky analogue baselines, whilst synth sequences and weird basements chuggers; this is “They Came At Night”.

Download copies of the mix are available on request; just drop me a line here.

MIXTAPE — NOISE OF INTEREST

A mixtape put together for the London-based music blog & DJ collective Noise Of Interest.

In line with the musical slant of the blog, dark disco, slow acid house and electronic style tunes are the order of the day. The word ‘chug’ probably best sums up this little lot!
